DCC Monthly Meeting
The Nevada County Democratic Central Committee (DCC) meets on the third Wednesday of each month. Doors open at 5:30 pm, meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. The location is the Sierra Gold Community Senior Center at 231 Colfax Avenue, Grass Valley. If you would like to attend or volunteer for one of its committees, please email us at nevadacountydems@gmail.com.
Also, at each DCC meeting, we will collect non-perishable food for needy families in our community.

3rd Congressional District Candidate Zoom Call
The Placer County Democratic Party and Auburn Area Democratic Club are hosting a Zoom candidate forum for the Democratic candidates in the 3rd Congressional District. Here is the information:
When: Monday, February 9
Time: 6:30pm to 8:00pm. We will start admitting people around 6:10pm.
Where: Zoom. Link will be provided prior to the forum.

This forum will consist of each candidate speaking and taking questions for roughly 25 minutes each. The forum will be recorded and posted on the Placer Dems YouTube page for those who are not able to attend.
Democratic Women of Nevada County
The DWNC monthly meetings have been reinstated with our next meeting scheduled for Saturday, February 7, at the Madelyn Helling Library in the Albaugh Community Room. Doors open at 9:00 a.m. for a social time, and our agenda begins promptly at 9:30. This month, Grass Valley Police Chief Alex Gammelgard will speak about ICE, offering general guidance and principles that will be helpful should this become an issue in Nevada County. Keith Allen, founder of the Bridge Brigade, will also speak regarding local actions to sustain our community. Sign up!
