DWNC Monthly Meeting
Students and School Trustee Candidates Conversation: The Democratic Women of Nevada County (DWNC) will sponsor a Candidate and Student Conversation on Saturday, Oct. 3, at Nevada County Media Center, 355 Crown Point Circle, Suite D, Grass Valley. Doors open at 10 a.m., with the program beginning at 10:30 a.m. The event is open to the public.
Six school trustee candidates—Olivia Pritchet, Keith Allen, Tara Marino, Emily Gallup, Mike Dent and Jeff Dellis—will introduce themselves and share their views on education. The forum is designed to encourage collaborative nonpartisan politics to facilitate hearing the concerns of students, staff and the community of families with children attending Nevada County Schools.
Following the candidate introductions, a preselected panel of elementary and high school students will speak about their experiences in school, describe the changes they hope to see and ask questions of the candidates.

Please help us distribute them. You will be trained to use an app called PDI, which will direct you to the homes of people who have not voted. All you do is hang the card on the door. Join us!
